报告人简介

Prof. Chongmin Song is a Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Centre for Infrastructure Safety and Engineering, at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He obtained the degree of Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University, China and the degree of Doctor of Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan. His research interest covers computational mechanics, dynamic soil-structure interaction and fracture mechanics. He is one of the two original creators of the scaled boundary finite element method. His current research focuses on the development of advanced numerical methods and their engineering applications.

Prof. Chongmin Song,澳大利亚新南威尔士大学教授、结构工程与安全中心主任。于清华大学取得学士和硕士学位、于东京大学取得博士学位。研究领域包括计算力学、土与结构的动力相互作用和断裂力学。他是比例边界有限元法(SBFEM)的两位创始人之一。这种新型数值方法兼具了有限元法与边界元法的优点同时又避免了其缺点,其主要特点包括精度高、计算量节省,并且在处理无限域问题和应力奇异性方面具有突出优点。近年来在国际著名期刊上发表论文200余篇,H-指数57(Google Scholar),近期主持澳大利亚自然基金等项目20余项。当前研究着重于发展新型计算方法和数值技术以及它们在工程中的应用。
